Lie down on the floor flat with your whole body. Place your hands flat on the floor under your shoulders. Make sure that your feet are shoulder width apart and that the toes are pointing toward the floor.

Keep your legs straight and push off with your hands. Push until your entire body is lifted off of the floor and the only parts of your body that are touching the floor are your feet and your hands. Push all of the way up, then come back down until your chest is about 3 inches off of the floor and push back up again. Do as many as you can. Be sure that you keep your hands and feet in the same spot the entire time and that your legs and back are completely straight.

When breathing be sure that you exhale while you push off and inhale on the way back down.

To make the pushups easier you may try using your knees instead of your feet.

Try to keep your form as correct as possible.
