How to tone your calves.

If you have weights you will need to hold a dumbell in each hand. The amount of weight you hold is up to you.

Start out by placing a mat or a board on the ground. No more than an inch or two in thickness. Stand so that the top half of your feet on the board or mat and the bottom half touching the ground. Keep your legs shoulder distance apart. Now push off virtically with the top half of your feet so that you are basically standing on your tippy toes. Lower yourself slowly back down to the ground. Then repeat.

To work the insides of your calves (the big meaty part) you will point your toes inward slightly. The oppossite goes for the outsides of your calves. To work the outsides you will point your toes outward.

Everyone is always looking to get strong calves to help them throughout the day. Having strong and healthy calves is always important as doctors have said. There are many exercises which would help give you the calves that you are wanting and they don’t require a good deal of energy. In today’s society, exercising and having shapely calves with exercises is a very complicated subject. Many people don’t have the time to exercise. This is why it is good to follow simple exercise. If you want those nice calves to become nice and firm, then follow these simple exercises to get those calves you’ve always wanted.

Another type of movement is called sitting calf raises. This is a very easy exercise. This can even be performed while sitting at your work or in front of your computer at home. Start by rolling your feet, on the balls of your feet, and repeat the movement until your calves become tired.

Don’t be discouraged by your genetics and let’s get those calves as toned as possible.
